Yeah, so anyways I've seen his games ( Do you know how many times Duke has been on National TV so far this year?) and I've read pretty much all that can be read on Kyle Singler.

What do you know about him, that's what I'd like to know?

Additionally, Show me where I said Trapani was better? All I said was that Singler reminded me of Trapani, both have similar games, they are the same size, and both can shoot, drive, and score inside.

Next year, unless Singler is taken in the top 10 this year..which I highly doubt, they will be playing head to head, we'll see how it plays out then.

I didn't say you said he was better, I said you said he was "as good as" Singler. Which you implied by saying they both can shoot, drive and score inside. Something tells me Singler isn't being kept awake at night at the thought of having to match up against Joe Trapani.

And what if Singler is picked between 11 and 14?

Edit: Duke has been on tv seven games this year, to answer your question. And I know that every scout and expert listed him as one of the very top recruits for this year, I know he matched up pretty well with Love throughout high school (who is considered to be one of the top two recruits for this year and would've been in the top 5 or so if he had been able to be drafted and will be next year), and I know that they all think he has the most complete skill set of any freshman in the country and in pretty much in all of college basketball.

Either way, you're wrong on both accounts. I said Singler reminds me of Joe Trapani. It's a simple observation and an equally as simple comparison to understand.

In terms of Singler being picked between 11-14 this year, I wouldn't be too worried about it, because he won't be.

Have you even heard of Chase Budinger? If you want to see what a lottery pick looks like, I suggest you watch him play.

Show me your sources that say this then..prove it to me you know what you think I don't know. Do you honestly think I don't read about college basketball?

Love is a post player and Singler is more of a three. Have you even seen Kevin Love play? Love's arms look like tree trunks and Singler looks more like Mike Dunleavy. Two completey different players, and Love is better at this point in their careers.

Singler ranks comfortably behind the other following freshman so far:

Here are some 2008 Mock Drafts. I do not see Singler's name on here, nor do I expect to. If the kid was top 5 as you say, he'd be on this list.

You probably read sites like Rivals and Scout, and Rivals ranks Singler as the #11 best Small Forward in college basketball. That's 10 players behind guys that play the same position, let alone in all of college basketball.

In all honesty I see Singler being a late 1st, early 2nd round pick. He doesn't show flashes to fill out into an impact player of any sort at the next level. While I think Singler's athleticism and ability limit him to be a role player at the next level, accept the fact that Singler will likely be part of the NBA at some point; a collection of the 450 or so best players in the world.

Though Tripani impressed me immensely at the DI level for his age, I don't see him measuring up at the highest level of basketball. I just don't see him being good enough to make it. Plain and simple.

I think it's a little too early to judge Trapani based on one injury plagued year.
The kid was amazing, it was considered a coup for us to get him, and y'all were cheering when he left us.
Not saying either he or Singler will make the NBA.
Just that it's hard to gauge the two together when one was injured half of last year and has to sit this one.
