10 of 14 concerts in Bangor are either oldies or country. You have that Godsmack/heavy metal show, moe (jam band), BNL/Blues Traveller, and the teeny bopper show. Not really appeasing the 25-35 year old sweet spot.

If Bangor is such an old community as you like to say, why on earth would they give 2 shits about appeasing the 25-35 year old sweet spot that isn't living there in the first place? Seems like they should focus on the demographic...and dude, you can downplay those shows all you want, there are some excellent concerts coming to that area and quite honestly, acts of that magnitude that have never been in that vicinity.

Also, thanks for the update on the CCCC...it's about time that place got some TLC. Checked out the list for the State Theater...not much there as far as I can see but evidently there must be some good things. Couple shows that would interest me...

And by the way........who the F cares about concerts as it concerns AE basketball??? All I know is that Bangor is now hopping in the summer and the most popular shows are drawing 10K plus.

I made the stupid decision of walking from Downtown Hartford to West Hartford (UofH) that Championship weekend because I like walking and checking out new places. But I went on the less scenic route through Albany Avenue -RT 44. Those were the longest 2-3 miles of my life, terrible neighborhood. I was also surprised at how segregated the Hartford area is. As soon as I crossed the Railroad tracks into West Hartford, everything changed for the better...

I actually think West Hartford is pretty cool. They have some great restaurants that I frequent during the AE tournament.
