But, you can't argue with a kid wanting to just stay put where he is. And certainly this is a JMU program whose trajectory, thanks to the hiring of Matt Brady, is heading in a different direction than it was even 2 months ago, so why not stick it out at a school you're already comfortable with. Oh well, nothing ventured, nothing gained. Would have been an exciting get, though.

I wonder if there's a "Plan B", so to speak, for this recently-available scholarship, as far as guys available for next year. It wouldn't totally shock me if they just sat on this one until next fall: you get the sense they already landed the guys they wanted, and the guys they planned on getting (Young and Clarke)...unless another relevant transfer pops up, maybe just roll this one over and go strong after 4 guys for 09.
