I wonder how accurate that self-reported 37in-38in vertical is. At 6'8'' and a 37in vertical, you'd think the kid would have been able to do a bit more than 0.8 ppg in 21 games in two seasons at Arizona State.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Wasn't sure where to put it really, but Paul Crosby has committed to Mississippi State Valley (alma mater of NFL greats Jerry Rice and Deacon Jones) and Tyree Graham, considered one of the top 100 JUCOs, has committed to Rutgers.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
JUCO? Really? I don't know much about Guillaume, but I would imagine that Talley would have his pick of the litter from mid-major schools. That decision confuses me.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
They probably didn't get a waiver to play immediately next year. Going to a JUCO means they don't have to sit out a year and are essentially a "free agent" after graduating from the two-year school.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
I suspect the waivers for the guys who played last season were denied. I had read somewhere that the decision was expected in early June so the timing is right.
JUCO isn't an option for Greer Wright -- without a waiver, his options are to sit out a year at another NCAA D-1 school, play the season for a very bad Binghamton team or (I guess) go to an NAIA powerhouse. |

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Wright cannot go JUCO he already played 2 years 06-07 Palm Beach and 08-09 City Coll San Francisco. Last year his first at Bing gives him 3 yrs in a 4 yr window.
The NCAA has only allows a 5 year window (without any type of waivers) so he should only have 1 year remaining. |

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
The tables have turned- Binghamton and UMBC are both now losing players after one season to JUCOs
![]() Sorry- the irony is too much and I couldn't resist making at least one comment. It definitely does suck for the league both Talley and Grant are transferring- I thought both players were very good for frosh and had a lot of potential.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Has anyone heard anything in regards to where Garvey Young might land?

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Nice place to land for Sutton.
I liked Sutton, thought he was developing into a solid big in the league.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
The rumor on Twitter is that Garvey Young is on his way to Quinnipiac. What...his grandmother lives in Hamden?
So yeah...guess that series is about over. |
