Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Q-Pac lost to Fairfield tonight 72-60, looks like Garvey Young injured his shoulder in practice and will miss the first two games:
http://www.quchronicle.com/2011/11/q...ve-for-opener/ Also, the two basketball players- James Johnson and Ike Azotam- that were involved in the campus fight got off pretty much clean. Johnson was suspended for 1 game, that's the entire punishment.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
DJ Rivera scores 37 in Montevallo's opening night 114-77 win against Mars Hill, and 18 more in today's 83-40 win over Brevard.
Malik Alvin scored 13 (on 4-for-18 shooting) in Shaw's 80-66 exhibition loss to Duke on November 2nd. If I'm not mistaken, that means that Malik Alvin played Duke in his last game at Binghamton and in his first game at Shaw... |

He traded a degree from UMBC for Arkansas-Fort Smith? Wow. Well, I hope he's happier there than he was here. We sure could have used him the last couple of seasons. |

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Drake University:
Jordan Clarke had 11pts, 8 boards, and 3 steals in the first game of the season against Upper Iowa- a non-D1 school Kraidon Woods- also a starter- had 5pts and 4 boards. Jordan Clarke was named a co-captain for 2011-12 as well. Hopefully he can finally play injury free this season: 5 Questions w/ Jordan Clarke: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQI_0...layer_embedded

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Dylan Talley did not start, but played 20 minutes in Nebraska's win over South Dakota. He finished with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Cornhuskers beat USC in double-OT tonight. Off the bench once again, Talley recorded 7 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, a block and a steal. |

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
I know he left to play JUCO his sophomore year back home in CA, but it was always said it was because he was homesick, and didn't like the east coast. I would have hoped that he would have landed a D1 scholarship at a Big West or Big Sky school, since he would be relatively close to home.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Wow, against a ranked team in Marquette too. Good for Tamares. Sigh, Gilliam, Grant, Burrier, and Tamares (last year, anyway, since he would've graduated last year) would add 6-8 wins alone.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Grant, Burrier, and Conway each scored double digits their last game.
-Burrier (Stevenson) scored 11 points, but on 5-18 shooting. -Grant (Arkansas Fort Smith) added 11 pts (3-5 from 3) in a win. Marcos Tamares scored 6 pts in an exhibition win. |
