Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Based on Talley and Wright's abilities, I imagine both of those guys will be looking to move up.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
I'm bet we have a conference RPI in the 30s next season. Easily.

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Well that was unclear by what you wrote. I could see Talley in the MAAC but I could also seem him as high as the A10.

The AE will finish above the SWAC and the MEAC (and the Great West, if you even consider that to be a conference at this point). That, by itself, keeps the conference RPI out of the 30s. Binghamton is going to be a horrorshow, but I think two of the UMBC/Albany/Hartford trio will manage to stay out of the 300s. Compare that to the SWAC, which had 5 300+ teams. The MEAC had 4 300+ teams, plus NC A+T at 298. It'll be another down year for the AE, to be sure, but things aren't going to be as bad as they are for most of the HBCU's. |

Re: Outbound Transfers Catch-All Thread
Better question, re: Brittain...is he at all healthy? Didn't he have concussion problems? Isn't that why he missed this season (forgive me if I'm incorrect about this, I've lost track of injury issues from other schools). Is he actually able to play at all?

Toward the end of the season Chambers hinted that Brittain might be able to play in 2010-11. He never really voiced his opinion on the idea either way, though. If he is, in fact, transferring, I think this is a move for grad school. |

I know he was a scholly guy at ASU, so he should be able to contribute at least a little bit if he stays... I don't care if he was glued to the end of the bench at ASU (which he was), if you're good enough to get a full ride from a high-major school for two years, you're good enough to contribute at this level. ...which brings up a question. Why didn't he play last season? Bing could have used him. Eligibility issues? Someone from Bing around to answer this one? Anyone? (Bueller?) |
