Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Hey Sam and AH (sorry I don't know your real name Air Holland) ...
What do you think a line-up of CDLR, Gilliam, Neller, Plummer, and Wasco would have looked like? Do you think we'd have been a .500 team? I'm not sure but since I have nothing else to do but wonder about "What ifs"

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
What's the deal with CDLR's eligibility? Could he hypothetically play somewhere next year as a grad student? Or is he just done with college basketball? I feel like I could see him on the Coastal Carolina roster next year or someplace like that.

I think he still has 15 years of eligibility left in Division II in Georgia though. |

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Yeah, was thinking he could potentially take advantage of that grad school loophole. Not sure either.

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
He's done. This was his fifth year of ball after sitting out, and he played during the first semester... the most he could hypothetically have throwing out the 4 years of eligibility in 5 years enrolled in school is 1/2 of a season (1 semester) since he has actually played 3 1/2 years on the court... but he's done, couldn't play anywhere...

Probably a 7 win team, I think (sweep Binghamton, 3-1 against Hartford/UNH, split against Maine, steal one game against the top four). Nothing scientific about that estimation, just a gut feeling. |

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Yeah, that UMBC team wouldn't be .500 either. I'd say probably win 10 games total max. CDLR, Gilliam, and Plummer would probably put up fun offensive numbers though, but they wouldn't win basketball games.

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Power Rankings, week in Review, Fab Five (IE 1st Team All-Conference if the season ended today) and Frosh Five (IE All Rookie Team if the season ended today) are up: http://www.onebidwonders.com/2012/02...-jan-30-feb-5/
Some gems from Matt Whitrock hidden within the article: "In other news, Binghamton still hasn’t won a game. Not much to talk about here, and I’d rather not speculate about whether or not the league office will be paying increased attention to whatever happens on the court at Hartford on Sunday. Do we know if anyone at the league office is paying attention to anything? Anyone? (Bueller?)" And: "let’s focus on the positive. Ryan Cook is the positive. Ryan Cook! He’s our Player of the Week, so we’ll talk about him there. But seriously… Ryan Cook. Way to go, dude." |

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
first team players dont go quiet for "a couple weeks."
Brian Dougher certainly wasnt quiet against UVM, Albany, and BU(your 2,3 and 4 teams). The only time he was quiet was the first half of the BU game at BU which he recovered from pretty nicely in the second half. Last edited by i saw a seawolf once; 02-06-2012 at 08:20 AM. |
