i dont see a big difference betweeen brenton and voelkels game. they account for the same ammount baskets when you add there ast and pts. brenton is a little better defensively and scores more efficiently. voelkel is a better rebounder. i think its weird the coaches saw brenton as a first teamer and voelkel as third.

Except for the part where Brenton shot 57% from the floor (60% in conference play) while Voelkel shot 34% from the floor (39% during conference play)...

when you only shoot a few times a bad fg% doesnt effect your team that negatively. other players shot high percentages because of voelkels passes. i dont think brenton was that more efficient of the offensive end when you consider ast being worth 2 points but... i do think brenton is a better player this year.

voelkels shooting percentages with how many times he shot only equals about 2 wasted possessions a night with low percentage shots. he certainly made those up with his offensive rebounding and passing.
