If you think that didn't know about Binghamton's sins and transgressions as a program, let alone wouldn't jump on Binghamton if I think they screwed up, you really have not been around here long. No one was more vocal in their criticism and condemnation of the program. I was the one who got hold of and made public the Ben Dickinson elbow...

To try to draw parallels between what happened with Reed and the previous regime, or to imply that he was somehow going down the same road of recruiting "bad kids" is really asinine. There were no issues in Reed's past, no record, no red flags, to give any credence to you're belief that they are once again going the "bad kid" route.

Sometimes things happen that no one saw coming and no one could have predicted. Trespassing and drunken-disorderly charges which were dismissed with community service certainly are not a feather in someone's cap, but let's be really, things like that happen at college. This isn't credit card fraud, dealing crack, or larceny like happened under Broadus.

Frankly, you're own program had something very similar happen a few years ago with Desmond Adedeji, who was arrested for DUI - Big Des was a great kid who never turned his car on or made any attempt to drive his car, but under the law was busted for sleeping in his car while drunk after a party... the point being, you can't always pass judgement without knowing the facts.

correct. the difference is "big des" served an 8 or 9 game suspension.

I dont believe in the theory kids will be kids. It may have been minor but he was still arrested. Something that binghamton really needs to stay away from. He is obviously not the sharpest tool in the shed. It doesnt really bother me(i like what you wrote about SBU) but dempsey's number 1 goal should be to get his kids to stay out of trouble and he failed one month into the school year. If mark macon was the coach you would have called for his head.

I think Reed getting arrested in the second biggest thing to mention with Dempsey being the first. To say that shouldn't be mentioned is crazy. There is still plenty of Macon players on the team that can screw things up. It's the number 1 issue.

You are really getting too defensive and reading too much into it. There was a few things I think you should of put about UVM as well. I saw a lot of opinion in your writing and how you spin a team this way or that. It's fine. Its your predictions. No one will ever totally agree with someone's predictions on a team and their players.

I agreee with 100% of everything you said. I do think the Macon quote is a little misleading because most people were calling for his head last year. The head has already been called for.
