Our First Power Rankings, weekly recap, and Week 1 and Week 2 Players and Rookies of the Week, and Fab 5 and Freshman 5 (Think of them as, if the season ended today, these would be our First Team All-Conference and All-Rookie Team): http://www.onebidwonders.com/2012/11...ower-rankings/

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
The thing I don't get is why do all this good players go to Maine when they are set up to fail? And it's the state of Maine cold as hell. If it was palm beach fine maybe it would be worth the failure but Maine.

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Maybe just maybe the players arent that good. Maine players certainly get alot of hype, but maybe that hype is wrong. i have seen good players win with bad coaches i.e. Randy Monroe or Mark Macon. With good players Monroe wins the league and goes to national tournement 5 years later he is fired. with good players in his first year Mark Macon goes .500 and gets forced out of the AE tournement because how embarrassing would it be if binghamton won the league that year. That is the same mark macon who only could pull out 2 wins last year. I think it is time we all stop bashing Woodward for his coaching and maybe start critisizing his recruiting. He either isnt recruiting players who fit his system or he is recruiting players who arent good.

Seriously, Leichner is the reason Maine has been getting talented players, there is definitely something to be said for being a great recruiter. |

Also listed Malik Thomas as a junior, but he's a RS Sophomore I'm fairly certain.

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
New Power Rankings are up, some shuffling among the AE Ranks, and some new faces in the "Fab Five" and "Frosh 5" teams. http://www.onebidwonders.com/2012/12...r-rankings-v2/

Vermont #1 BU #2 Stony Brook #3 Albany #4 You have Hartford ranked over BU??? You think Hartford could come within 2 points at George Mason and Rutgers? THINK AGAIN!!!! |

Re: OBW Catch-All Thread
Don't disagree with much, but I'd go this way:
1. UAlbany 2. Vermont 3. SBU 4. BU 5. Hartford.... Also, not sure what the man crush is on Alasdair Fraser but don't think he's been off the Fab Five since last year...a little favoritism there I think. |
