BTW, at the 40 sec mark, I think the player who gets badly rejected is Boston U commit, Justin Alston. At least he took it strong to the hoop, so I appreciate the effort. |

Re: 2012 America East Recruiting Thread
DeMatha headed to California to take on Lincoln HS, whom they went on to beat 59-48 to remain undefeated. Bell scored 17 points on six field goals, including five threes (and now has 21 in 6 games). He remains the Stags' (who are ranked 6th in the nation) leading scorer at 14.2 per game.
Here's some highlights. He is #1 for the white team. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M_VB103sjM4 |

Re: 2012 America East Recruiting Thread
UVM has been doing a great job recruiting lately. A PG is def a need for the future. the soph and freshmen playing the position now can stil do a fine job when they grow up some more. i dont think UVM should sign a PG in this class. they should snag a good one in the next class. i'm pretty excited about kilpatrick and O'Day. i think they will more than replace Bergman and Glass.

DeMatha won a tournament out in California between the 26th-30th of December. They won four games in four days to remain undefeated at 9-0. Bell hit 16 threes in the four games and averaged 13.5 points to lead DeMatha in scoring during the tournament. His season average of 13.6 still ranks highest on the team.

Re: 2012 America East Recruiting Thread
We need someone that can score the basketball- regardless of position.

Re: 2012 America East Recruiting Thread
Here's a 15 minute highlight video from DeMatha's four wins in San Diego. It shows all the threes, so Bell is featured somewhat prominently. Looks like he can really stroke it.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3lEUKg66cUQ Also...for those interested in seeing Bell play, DeMatha will be on TV a couple times in the next month or so. January 16th vs Bishop Gorman (one of the top teams in the country) on ESPNU February 10th vs Gonzaga Prep (where Dickinson went to school) on ESPN2 |

Re: 2012 America East Recruiting Thread
Here's another article on Stony Brook's fourth commit, Ahmad Reid.
http://espn.go.com/blog/boston/high-...or-stony-brook I really like the pick up, and I can't understand why he wasn't more heavily recruited. |
