Re: Coaching Carousel
I apologize for the misunderstanding... my fiance is all over me because of complications regarding our wedding on June 15... Graduate School loan issues galore, and there are certain posters on here who write comments like the previous one but who are SERIOUS in going out of their way to take shots at me and its tiring... Once again, I apologize.

(it's not right but that's life).I find most of what you post informative and ahead of the curve, just keep delivering the info please. Someone like me who follows the AE closely but doessn't get privilege information likes to hear what is going on around the league that isn't public knowledge ( no one bats 1,000) |

What I don't get, are thinly veiled personal attacks that fly around towards me when the only thing I'm doing is devoting a significant amount of my personal time, to bring people information that they otherwise would be unaware of. To be honest, if I was GETTING PAID to write all of what I write, I wouldn't ever respond at all. I wouldn't have any issues at all, it comes with the territory of being a PROFESSIONAL. But in all honesty, I'm completely VOLUNTEERING my time for this - I don't get paid, I do it all on my own dime for love of the conference, and because when I was nothing more than a fan I would have loved to have someone, anyone, any outlet, devote time to actually covering the tiny conference I loved that is the AE. Don't get me wrong, I don't think anyone should be kissing my ass, or thanking me for what I do at all, nothing of the sort. But personal attacks because I'm taking my own free time to actually cover the conference in depth??? There's other stuff I could be doing that would be a hell of a lot less stressful and at this point probably a lot more rewarding, which I why I get pissed off by personal attacks... And, as an aside, I find it pretty hilarious that no one ever actually says anything to me in person when I'm quite visible during the year, they hide behind screen names and lurk on message boards to take anonymous pot-shots... It is what it is, but its getting tiring and I'm genuinely thinking of hanging up my AE traveling shoes. |

The last thing the city of Boston needs is another tired sports journalist writing about the same things over and over about the Sox/Pats/Celtics. Talk about an overcrowded market. Like, I don't care about what Bobby Valentine said to Kevin Youkilis today. STFU already, Boston sports writers.

Re: Coaching Carousel
ffts you have made what you call personal attacks towards other people as well. Dont be a hypocrite. NO one else is getting paid to write on this message board either. Just because you spend more time than other people on the AE doesnt give you an exemption from being criticized. Just because you have a OBW site doesnt make you exempt either. You post your opinions on this site and people disagree with them. You post stuff as fact and you end up wrong at times. You getting criticized is no different than any other poster posting on here. Get off your high horse.

Re: Coaching Carousel
I assume we should hear some word today about the Brown job. It will be ineresting if the early reports of Martin being the choice will be correct. It see a guy like Bob Walsh has been a bridesmaid many times but never a bride. I wonder why?
