I haven't visited the RAC, so this might be fun. Most likely BU will get dominated by Wally Judge and company, but the guard match-up is good.
:Couldn't Rutgers find an easier schedule or start a hammer and nail rivalry with NJIT?

It's a great place to watch a game. I went down there a couple of years ago when UVM played them...and won, I might add. Though it wasn't a sellout, the place got pretty loud.

OT - You can get a Dunn's smoked meat sandwich on rye at the the "Jack and Grill" off Blakely Road (really!!!) in Colchester, VT. It's very tasty!

Re: 2012-13 OOC Schedules

Forgive me if I missed a release on this, this thread is long...but UVM's OOC is posted on their web site...

http://www.uvmathletics.com/schedule.aspx?path=mbball

Basically a combination of return games from last year, Bracketbuster tie-ups, and a money game at UConn.

Is the game at Rhode Island not a money game?

Re: 2012-13 OOC Schedules

URI nice homecoming game for Crenca as a senior.

Selfishly I wish we'd gotten an exempt tourney because that means more games, but I think the schedule we have for 2012-13 is the right one for the team we return. Love the Harvard and NU games in Boston of course- as well as UConn and URI.

Oh, probably. I saw them on the schedule, but then I glanced right over that when I posted this.

Re: 2012-13 OOC Schedules

Is there going to be an all-inclusive Bracketbuster this year or just certain teams, or is it all scrapped, or what? I havent seen a single thing on anyone's schedule mentioning it.

Re: 2012-13 OOC Schedules

BU is supposed to be taking on Bishops University today up in Montreal- anyone know when the game is? Supposed to play McGill tomorrow.

They play Carleton as well and Carleon just beat Buffalo 77-75 a couple days ago, for whatever that's worth.

Great question- I haven't seen anything really on the Bracketbusters for 2013.

Worth noting that when the CAA signed the NBC deal then CAA schools could no longer participate in ESPN Bracketbusters.....so there could be total re-structuring by ESPN of the whole event, as CAA has been one of the main conferences for the thing.

http://espn.go.com/blog/collegebaske...bracketbusters

I hope the Bracketbusters doesn't go away- UVM really benefitted from participating. We don't get Nevada and Charleston to Patrick Gym without it, that's for sure. Maybe ESPN can restructure it and make it work.

BU is not playing in Canada. I meant to post something on this, but the summer semester was a KILLER (as of 9am today I am DONE so thank god, now I finally have time to get back on the America East horse). Once BU got banned from the AE tourney (and as a result, their chances of the NCAA tournament went down to zero) they quietly cancelled the Canada trip: Makes sense since they can only go once every 4 years, they'd want to save it for a year that their ceiling so to speak is a lot higher.

Thanks for confirming, that's what I had thought. Didn't take long to read a few players and coaches Twitter to figure out they weren't in Canada.

As an aside, how much of a college basketball junkie am I that I'm interested in BU/Bishops University scores in August.

I like the extra game for UNH as a fan but I'm sure the coaching staff doesnt enjoy it.

He very well might get a win in his return. This looks to be a good year to visit Kingston. I don't expect the Hurley's to start getting results until year 2.
