Have you read the thread title and first post? And then followed some people thinking it's an actual possibility?

Re: Alex Oriakhi to Stony Brook

I cannot begin to tell you all how tickled pink I am that this thread has made six pages and lasted over a week. I am pleased as punch! I do have an admission to make. Alex's last name is too hard for me to remember how to spell so every time I need to use it I copy and paste. For those of you who don't use keyboard short cuts it's very easy. Just highlight the intended text, hit Control-c, place the cursor where you want the new text to appear and hit control-v. That's right, I said V. Let me demonstrate how it's done. Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi Alex Oriakhi. Some of you would probably think, "Wow! Salty is a great typer!" Alas it is an illusion. A cheap parlor trick. Sleight of hand if you will.

No one here is thinking that this is an actual possibility. I have read the whole thread. If you are taking this seriously then you are nuts.

We all know he is not going to transfer to an AE team... Why the hell would he? he is a talented player that can play in a much better league ...Salty clearly started this thread as a joke.

Re: Alex Oriakhi to Stony Brook

Tired of trade rumors, it's been reported that Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo has received a special waiver from the NCAA to return for his final years of eligility. It's been reported he will be joining Alex Oriakhi at StonyBrook University. When asked about his decision to attend StonyBrook, Rondo said, "it only makes sense for me to follow in the shoes of the best point guard in college basketball, Brian Dougher".

In spite of SBU landing the huge transfers, Boston University was once again picked in the preseason coaches poll as the favorite to win the conference.

I find it funny how Vermont fans mock sbu fans. With so many fans that actually remember the days of fuzzy evans you should remember the days of mediocrity. Don't forget where you came from. Your arrogance never seizes to amaze.

What- Vermont fans can't make any of the jokes, only SBU?

Hey- if you guys ever win anything, make sure you don't forget where you came from either- Division 3.

Stony Brook fans are making fun of themselves. Vermont fans are making fun of Stony Brook. It's a bit different.

Some of you are serious, hence the mocking.

But yes- you have to be made fun of from time to time, just because.

It's purely good natured ribbing. I'm not sure if you've been around long enough, but a SBU poster joked early in the season that Dougher was the best point guard in all of college basketball. That's where that reference came from. This whole thead was posted in a joking manner, I don't think my adding to it is arrogant. I have said several times on this forum that I think SBU is a very good program and have come very far, very fast. I respect the program, it's coaches and it's players. (Ask FFTS what I think about Tommy Brenton, we've had conversations about him) I'm sorry you didn't get or appreciate my humor.

I know very well how bad Vermont was before the last 10 years. I've been a fan for a pretty long time. We are very fortunate to have had the success we've had recently. I don't take that for granted.

Could you point out who is seriously talking here? I mean, I haven't noticed anyone seriously considering Oriakhi coming to Stony Brook....

ecasadoSBU, read quoted post.

Hence, the mocking.
