Re: OT Baseball

Unbelievable. They still did not deserve a 3 seed or a top 25 ranking during the season since they did not beat anyone during the season. But you have to give credit to this years SBU team for getting the job done when it counts.

Based on where they sit right now it is clear they did not deserve to be ranked #25. It is quite clear they should have been ranked in the top 16 and should have been a 1 seed.

They deserved 3 seed........period. Thankfully, they didn't get one and got placed in a favorable regional.

This will make everyone feel even better about Stony Brook's win last night..........

What a punk loser that UCF pitcher is! I bet he's feeling really great this morning.........must be REAL popular with his teammates!

Re: OT Baseball

Just watching that short clip the one kid from Stony Brook was acting like an idiot too. No need to taunt the losing team at that point. Your play on the field said it all, win with class.

Look man, I know it's tough being the only guy left in the foxhole and you can see the napalm coming, but come now...time to abandon that argument.

SBU came into the regionals ranked above both 4 and 3 seeds. But like in every tournament history, geography, and pedigree are inevitably considered. SBU has none. St. John's proved the same when they knocked out UNC. Simple story. To rehash an opinion that at this point just makes you look bad is a pretty poor decision.

And keep in mind - I knock down SBU and non-SBU fans alike when they stick to untenable points.

Wow! If you're a college pitcher for Central Florida pitching in the NCAA Tournament and you can't hit 80 with your heat, you should probably STFU and not say anything, and maybe think about maybe I should have played lacrosse instead

That was Carmona. I thought the same thing until i just read the article about the pitcher talking to him. When you talk trash you put yourself under a microscope. Carmona took care of business on the field and then made sure adkins knew about it after.
