Doubt that, but we'll find out early next week. If SBU really is better than Albany, Maine and Bingo this season and wins the AE we will see if the committee thinks they are a top 32 team. #2 seed in one of the 16 team regional's. I would be shocked if they get that. To me if they make it they would be one of the worse 3's or one of the better 4's. They also would get a chance to beat really good teams, something they have yet to do this season.
If they don't beat Albany, Maine and Bingo we will see if the committee thinks they have 1 of the best 35 or so resumes. I would be surprised if they did. Vandy is a lock by the way.

BTW, I heard some of this same nonsense last season as well as to how good SB was.

Maybe you ought to just stay on the SB board(if there is one). You have issues(but that has been obvious for a while). Where did I say SB sucked. #100 is pretty good in baseball especially for a team in the northeast.
It is not at-large worthy and they are overrated in the polls currently.
If SBU is really as good as you think they are they will prove that over the next few weeks, but the need for you that I recognize them as if they are a lock to be playing for a spot in the super regional's with their resume truly is pathetic.

That is the way that it should be. UA, Bingo and Maine all get the chance to prove who the best team of the AE is this weekend just like last year when Maine defeated Albany for the championship. SB not only has to win this week, but they have more work to do if they are to prove they are a top 30 team.

You know that Stony Brook is overrated nationally, but after seven weeks of conference play you don't know where Stony Brook ranks within the America East? You can't have it both ways.

Seriously. I don't really know what you don't understand. Top 30 teams beat other top teams. SB has 0 wins against top teams. Until they get one they are not a top 30 teams.
As far as AE conference SB obvious is the favorite, but they are not unbeatable. I guess you don't know how playoffs work. All qualified teams go back to 0-0. I would not be surprised if any of the other team won the championship this weekend although UA has to get some runs soon to have a good chance.

Bingo wins 2-1 in the first game. I am disappointed, but not really surprised. They have a good team as well and the 7 weeks of AE did not prove where the teams ranked in spite what some SB fans think..

It doesn't hurt that Bing's pitcher and next legitimate prospect to make it to the bigs, Mike Augliera, was back in top form. He pitched a complete game one-hitter. Tough to win games when the opposing pitcher is throwing t well.
