tough inning. It looks like pitching has settled down as it is still a 7-3 deficit in the 5th. I am not able to be there so just checking game tracker. Had 3 errors after 1, but now 2. Either way tough to win important games when playing like that.

Down 8-3 now im bottom of 7th. Not looking good. Looks like I'll have to find other baseball tomorrow for the start of the holiday weekend as I am not driving down to that hellhole for an 11am game if we are not playing.
Always have a plan B at this time of year. Could go to the a-10 tourney a couple of hours away starting at noon or take a 2 hour drive to boo John Lannan in Syracuse.

I knew someone like that. She got arrested for submitting fake Harvard applications for her classmates in HS. She then nearly flunked out of Harvard her first year (oddly they didn't rescind their acceptance after finding out).

I did just fine , thank you.
But I never minded if the obnoxious kid flunked out.

As far as sports, part of that is growing up in the NYC area. With 2 teams in each pro sport, unlike most cities, you had a good team to root for (Mets, Isles, Giants) and a bad team to root against (yankees, Rangers and Jets to a lesser extent) I don't care about the NBA and it is only recently the Jets have fully embraced evil after being mostly irrelevant.

I can dig that. I was born in Pittsburgh and embrace all the Pitt sports, so never really "got" that - but I have a little bro and I think we all can't help but feel like that sometimes.
