Freshmen usually do not make all conference teams for whatever reasons, so I left them off as well. I can't make POY and ROY picks until have more information on league standings.
As if now, Fraser, pelcher, and especially warney have all been better than nwakamma (fouls a huge problem, lack of rebounding), apfeld (field goal percentage, lack of any impact on the boards, minutes) and myrick (awful efficiency, if his shot isn't on he does nothing else to help his team win).

Also, I don't care of record, but there is no way if the season ended today that cook wouldn't deserve first team honors, he's been fantastic.

Advanced FG stats Apfeld isn't far off from both Pelcher and Fraser. Pelcher and Fraser also have games against Suffolk and Fisher College in there. Additionally, not sure why minutes would be a negative against Apfeld, if anything it's a positive. Pretty certain Becker (and most coaches) doesn't allow players to sub themselves in and out, so he doesn't have much control over that- and Points Per 40min Apfeld would be 7th overall.

Cook has been great offensively but....UMBC.

Apfeld isn't that far off Shooting wise, but he is a huge ways away in rebounding numbers and blocked shots - big statistics for men in the middle. Fraser and pelcher's starts also are not inflated by their d3 games: take them out and there numbers remain basically the same... You can't hold an individual player responsible for the state of a team like umbc: years of bad recruiting an ba coaching have put them in he date they are in. Cook has been fantastic at a high usage rate, his energy is off the harts, and he's a plus defender: nothing more he can do. Sub him for any player in the league and I highly doubt umbc is any better - it's a huge rebuilding job far beyond the impact of one player.

No, 1 game does not inflate the numbers certainly but they contribute to the overall numbers- Fraser had his second highest rebounding total against Fisher (14) and Pelcher shot 7-8 FG against Suffolk and grabbed 9 boards- so when you're talking about things like rebounds and FG%, that makes a difference. I will definitely give you both are better rebounders than Luke, but given their size advantage I'd expect both to certainly grab more boards.

I don't really consider Apfeld a "man in the middle" and he's more of an AE "4" where Pelcher and Fraser are true AE "5"s. Apfeld scores a lot of his points off actual jump shots, and I don't even think Fraser and Pelcher can shoot jump shots. Apfeld is a much different type of player certainly but Fraser and Pelcher are both more like each other. I also wasn't trying to make the teams positional, and I don't think that's how they're voted on anyways.

I'm not disagreeing Cook has been great offensively, but It's less to do about swapping Cook out from UMBC and seeing how they do with someone else; but more put Cook on Albany/SBU/Vermont/BU then see what Cook does. Same thing applies for Jordan Reed.

Is all conference teams selected on just conference play or does it take in to account out of conference play? If it is just AE games that are taken in to consideration, I would take Iati out and put Sam Rowley in. In conference play he is average 11.5 points and 8.6 boards which is 2nd in the conference.

I've always thought it was a combination of the entire season, with more emphasis given to conference play.

Yeah, Rowley would definitely fit.

Warney has to be on 2nd team at a minimum. He is better than Nwakamma, plummer, Iati, Morris, Myrick, Coley, and Irving. And black is better than Irving.

Then where does that put Reed from Bing? Considering he is 3rd in the conference in scoring & #1 in rebounding...he would have as good a case if not better than your guy.

In looking at these guys, it's hard not to put Fraser on the 1st team but not sure who I would put him in over...and if you listed him on 1st team, I would have a hard time putting someone in over him as well. Seems like it could be pretty close this year...

How can you argue with this? This isn't who I think will get it but who should get it. 3rd team is up in the air a little. Lot's of games left as well. The coaches don't like to put freshmen on here. Warney will not get first team. Opposing coaches don't like Voelkel. He will not get first team. I see Black moving to first team. The coaches love seniors.
