Freshman of the Year
•Jameel Warney could mean the difference between an NCAA tournament bid and another disappointing title game for Stony Brook this season. In his last four games, Warney is putting up 12.6 points and 7.8 boards. http://www.cbssports.com/collegebask...shakes-up-race

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride
- How efficient is Stony Brook freshman Jameel Warney? The 6-8, 255 pound power forward has made 18 of his last 20 shots from the floor, and leads the Seawolves in both scoring (12 PPG) and rebounding (7.6 RPG). Steve Pikiell’s team could be a really tough out for someone in the NCAA Tournament if they win the America East and reach the field of 68. Stony Brook is currently 19-6 overall and 10-2 in league play.

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride
First time we played each team -
SB 79 Maine 69 The closest of the three - SB did go up 20 and it was never less than 10. SB 75 Boston U 48 - Total annihilation SB 65 Albany 49 - Nowhere near as close as the score indicates. SB was merciful on this night. Win two of these and we are guaranteed yet another first place finish. Gonna chalk up Albany as a win. SB simply does not lose at home. Boston is playing their last home AE game ever. Im not sure what this means - probably nothing. BU does not match up well with us but they are playing very very good right now. This will be another one versus two matchup since BU took over sole posession of second place. We find a way to win this one though. Of the three - Maine worries me the most. They play well against good teams. Edwards has been playing well. They are strong inside and Valjarevic has really stepped up. It's the bad teams they mail it in against. Maine this Saturday. If we get by this game then I think we win out. |

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride
Your anal devastation in regards to SB is palpable. What would suggest SB would, on purpose, lose their last regular season home game of the season which will be on espn3 to their biggest rival in order to affect tournament seeding

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride
lol... I am a fan of their competent owner Daniel Snyder though.. may he live long and continue to own the deadskins (RG3 was a solid move though). I hope Giants draft Maysonet.. we have a great organization where he can be patiently groomed behind Wilson and Brown.

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride
we swept albany in three games last season. we can do it this season... this time twice in their home. Im sure our players are up to the challenge.
