If not Brenton who would you predict as the best NBA prospect? Let me guess Voelkel??

Hahaha, no. Honestly? Based on returning players, I'd just leave it blank. Write in "N/A".

Nobody, but gun to my head I'm picking Justin Edwards.

Elbaum is clearly the top NBA prospect.

I'd agree with this. There is no NBA prospect in the league (at least as far as returning players you can try to project), none who can even sniff it... but Edwards closest resembles one.

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride

As far as NBA prospects go, Edwards is the size of a PG but doesn't have any PG skills, and he's a SG guard that can't shoot from the perimeter- at least hasn't shown that ability.

That's a tough situation lol. That all being said, Edwards probably would be the best option- he has the best athleticism out of returning players, and that's a must have component for the NBA.

Since there are no legitimate NBA prospects among returning players this season, it might as well be Elbaum.

Since the NBA is clearly out of the question for most all AE athletes, out of all those who are departing after this season, who do you think will have a more successful career overseas?

From this senior class? Whoever has the most advantageous family tree.

Re: 2012-2013 Seawolf Pride

Anyone have any thoughts on possible starting 5s for the schools in the AE yet?

Asking me this in April it was pretty easy, but now- no idea on the 5.

All I know is Carissimo and Voelkel are locks to start, of course. Probably Apfeld as well- talent-wise he's a lock but with injury history one can't say for certain. Next I would say Crenca (initially) and Rusin, but I think that's far from determined.

Very interesting question for UVM, as I wonder if they want to be that slow up front? I think I would prefer Rugg starting, with Crenca giving you size off the bench, especially considering Apfeld's tendency to foul, as well as his injury history. Then you still have, in addition to Crenca, the Frosh O'Day to bring off the bench.....I think I'd go with a front-line of Apfeld, Voelkel and Rugg, with Carissimo and Rusin. 2nd five of Elbaum/Blue, along with Crenca, O'Day and I guess the other frosh Kilpatrick? Interesting choice for the coach, but he plays 8-10 this year anyway doesn't he?
