Re: Starting Five

Voelkel has more rebounds because Warneys 14 a game take a few away from Brenton. Brenton also has to sacrifice some offensive boards due to his play making and assists and higher shooting percentage leading to fewer offensive rebounds being available.

I get the feeling that the Albany fans are like wolves in sheeps clothing right now. They are very quiet but are silently thinking their team is going to be much better than anyone thinks. They are just waiting for the right moment to start howling. Dane, Patch, Bosi where are youuuuuuu? Stop chatting up the CAA boards and come home.

Re: Starting Five

Voelkel has more NCAA Tournament experience than Brenton.

-and that's how you end the discussion

You better ride that one out for all its worth the next five months. After that you won't be able to use it anymore.

If baseball season is any indication, and I believe it it, The Brook should be making an elite eight appearance this year.

Doubtful- Voelkel is sitting at 1-1 in the NCAA Tournament with two seasons to go.

Right, because of course those two sports are related.

Re: Starting Five

Not trying to be a smart ass here, just a simple question...Can anyone see Brenton winning POY with let's say 9 ppg 8 rbg and 2 assits and 1.5 steals

Re: Starting Five

If SB wins the regular season then he will be the best player on a championship team - it definitely could happen. I shouldnt answer though - I am biased.

Re: Starting Five

I've seen the guys all (except Ben) play for UVM now, so I'll hazard a guess on who starts at the beginning of the season. I think that the starting line up can go a number of different ways and it's likely we'll see a few different ones during the season.

Sandro
Candon
Brian
Clancy (If Ben's healthy, he probably starts over Clancy)
Luke

I think it's possible we could see Either Ethan or Brendan start at some point this season.

Jimmy Gray was one of the best PG's in the AEast last year. I'd be stunned if he's not a starter.

From what Dempsey said, Moquete will play the point and Gray will play some SG. But at 6'0 id assume we will be seeing him split time at SG and PG. So i agree but i didn't really know how to list it lol
