Re: Games or scrimmages this weekend?
Maine has an exhibition against Acadia Univeristy (Nova Scotia, Canada). Acadia is currently undefeated and ranked #3 in Canada. Should be a good test for the Black Bears.

Binghamton plays an exhibition against D-III Susquehanna tomorrow at 2 PM. SuzyQ is Coach Dempsey's alma mater. This blurb, from the Binghamton preview of the game brings back fond memories of my days as a D-III athlete...

Re: Games or scrimmages this weekend?
BU scrimmaged LIU last week. Didn't go so well. Coach Jones has been working with a starting line up of Morris, Thomas and Robinson, and Irving and Watson. That back court is going to shred everyone in the AE. Just a matter of whether they get enough up front. Mr. Kentucky is looking pretty good, he's going to have to help up front.

Re: Games or scrimmages this weekend?
Odd start to the season this weekend for Stony Brook. Friday night 9 PM tipoff at Marist College in Poughkeepsie NY. The marist women have a 6 pm espn3 game so they are playing that game - clearing the facility entirely then allowing everyone back in for the men's game. Just like the NY yankees. No double header for the fans, gotta pay two admissions. From 9pm friday we get to 6am tuesday. ESPN tip off marathon game at Rider. (SB also plays at home on sunday against Mt Ida. I hesitate to mention this because..... well you all know why) I am especially stoked - Marist is about 45 mioutes from me and i'll be at my first ever SB opener. The ride to Rider is closer to three hours - but how can i not go to the ESPN tip off marathon game? So im setting the alarm for 2:30 and heading down. I know three of four season ticket holders who live near me and asked them if they are going to Rider. The general consensus is, "Ummmm I think i'll pass and watch that one on tv." So even though they officially play 3 games in 5 days I will be at the first two this season that matter. I cannot wait to see the team. They should and could be really dynamic this year. Everytime someone talks about Jameel Warney they say he is the real deal and expectations have not lowered a bit as you'd expect as we get closer to the season. I could gush for paragraphs - suffice it to say - I (we) at Seawolf Pack are very very very very very excited to see how it all gets put together this seawon.

Most teams in the country won't do so well against LIU this year. |
