America East Preseason Predictions
Looking at simulations based on Dan Hanner and Ken Pomeroy's predictions, the advanced statistics LOVE Vermont to win the America East. Especially Hanner. Pretty surprising there isn't more love for Stony Brook...

Re: America East Preseason Predictions
The margin in the Hanner predictions is absurd, but I would expect Vermont to be #1 in both analysis.
I'm not entirely sure all the inputs that go into both of these predictions, but if it's based off returning players I think any unbiased person would agree that Vermont returns much more than SBU in that department. Both teams are going to rely on newcomers- but SBU more so as it has a bunch of new freshmen: Warney,Puriefoy, Burnett, Walker and King. They also get Mayo back after missing a season who showed potential as a frosh, and then Bracey is supposedly a talented player but couldn't get on the court for SBU last season. Vermont, plenty of question marks as well- but we do not have 5 freshmen and return a lot more known commodities than SBU, who really just returns Brenton and Coley as key guys.
