Re: America East Gameday: 11/9

Albany wins...AWESOME game...guys, seriously...I think Puk got abducted and someone else took his form, his stats don't paint the whole picture...he was at his best down the stretch, no hesitation, decisive hitting some huge buckets and realy clogging up the paint. He and Black carried this team on their backs. If Puk continues to play like this...wow...really awesome effort against an athletic a-10 team even if they are bottom of the A-10...A lot of good things to build on here.

Puk with 14 and 8rb...Black 15pts, 4ast, 2stl...Rowley with 11pts 7rb...BTW...Puk did all of that in 17 minutes, foul trouble.

...and he only played 17 minutes. Totally different player from the past two seasons. Only one game though. He has to do this all season! I was really impressed with Rowley also. Wyland on the radio feed compared him to Brenton. Long way to go until you can make that comparison but he played a really nice game today. His assist to Puk on the dunk at the end of the game was awesome.

Most impressive thing about Rowley is IQ, he made the EXACT play that needed to happen and put the game away with a great decision...I saw flashes of this type of effort at the end of last season...loved his finish to the year and really happy to see him pick up where he left off.

Well thank good for tommy brenton and anthony jackson!!! This team is certainly young especially warney. I was expecting better. Hopefully it is first game jitters.

Looks like someone might have gotten one right on their "X-Factor" projections... or 2 with Malik Thomas at BU...

Congrats Albany, good win. Seems like decent play by AE teams pretty much across the board tonight.

Re: America East Gameday: 11/9

Nice win by Albany against an A10 team.

What happened to UMBC against Penn? They were up big at halftime.

BU/NU was a war, as usual. Deserves it's own thread, I'll start it with my observations.

Sam, I don't know what the heck it is about him...he just "gets it"...you know how Suero never "got it"...this kid just has it...I think he'll have a very good career at UA.

Well, I didn't hate it, but there obviously is a lot of work to do.

Re: America East Gameday: 11/9

Congrats SBU...welcome to the W column...looks like a 3-3 night...I guess we'll take it. Should have been 4-2 if UMBC didn't choke.

With any luck we'll go 3-3 tomorrow...
