Re: Vermont @ UConn 11-13
The difference is switching o'day and rugg in the starting line up is a lot different than switching four and bald. Four and bald were two entirely different players. O'day and rugg are not that different. I can see O'day taking over the starting spot from Rugg easily. Bald had potential to do some big things early on in the season. Four was playing out of position at the 2 guard spot. He was just a little small defensively to guard the 2. Offensively he is a 2 but he is not a true 2.

Re: Vermont @ UConn 11-13
UCONN is killing us on the offensive glass right now. Vermont's offense has gone cold. We are getting decent shots just not hitting. UCONN has taken some playground shots recently but continue to get bailed out by securing the offense rebounds.

Re: Vermont @ UConn 11-13
rugg had a nice slam down the lane. NOT the boring Catamounts as some people like to say.
yes apfeld has been rushing too much. I think we looking at him as a go to scorer and he feels the need to rush, get shots off when they are there. Last edited by uvm4life20; 11-13-2012 at 04:58 PM. |

Re: Vermont @ UConn 11-13
Wow, I didn't know our shooting was that bad. Really surprised we're not down by 20, that was pretty ugly.
I feel like Apfeld has been getting some cotact down low but just not getting the call. Sandro passed up some open looks early in the shot clock, but we need to take what we can get against a team as long as UConn. Keep playing tough D and rebounding and if a couple shots fall we're really right there. Keep your heads up Cats, UConn is pretty damn good.
