Re: 2012-13 OOC Results
Albany is 2-1 with wins over the Pac 10 and A10. That should get a prize.

Re: 2012-13 OOC Results
If we had a "Power Ratings" I'd put Albany, Stony Brook, and Vermont in Top 3 at this point.
I know BU is still 0-fer but I bet they have a similar season like last year- puke in OOC but still do well in conference play. They would be my 4th team at this point.

Re: 2012-13 OOC Results
So, to summarize, the AE beat a lot of teams they weren't supposed to beat and now every team has some reason to believe that they have a chance at the conference championship because they beat someone who beat..... That's really the best OOC outcome we could could hope for.

Re: 2012-13 OOC Results
Harvard almost beat 11-3 Saint Mary's last night- had a 14pt halftime lead but ended up losing 69-70.

Looking quickly at the standings I came up with 53-63 for the conference overall and 49-41 without UMBC and Bing. That's quite the OOC if you ask me. Nostrajimus what do you have to say for yourself?

Re: 2012-13 OOC Results
Turns out UVM's loss to Towson wasn't as bad as we originally thought. I was able to catch the Towson/George Mason game on Comcast Sports Network last night. Great game that went into overtime. Beninom had a career high 31 points and hit some big shots in OT to ice it for Towson. They now sit in second place behind Northeastern in the CAA.
Mason's big man Eric Copes had a double double and played well. IIRC he was headed to GW before Nero fired Karl Hobbs and hired Lonergan. |
