Re: America East Gameday 11/13
Amazing game. Had the laptop hooked up to my TV. I was going nuts. My wife thinks I'm losing my mind. PAC 12 champs on the road in a hostile environment. The energy the Danes played with tonight was so awesome. Mike Black was amazing. Driving to the hoop, creating, hustling, assists, 5 boards (I think). Loved every minute of it. What can I say about YAOTEE from the AMERICAN East conference? This kid has some stones and can shoot. What a quick release. So nice to see him doing what he is doing with his big brother on the bench. So many contributions tonight that don't show up on the stat sheet. So proud of this team right now. Great win!

You can understand that given how small our gym is, and our more recent playing success, it's hard to lock down D1 opponents at home. We tie with UNH and Maine for fewest in the conference this season, and both have a non-D1 on the schedule (stats below). Have to give the holders SOMEONE to watch, and it's not fair to the players to constantly be on the road. Next season should have a few reciprocated games come through, and with the new Arena in 2014 we become an instantly more enticing destination. In the meantime, we'll deal with what we have to. Albany 7 UMBC 6 Hartford 6 Vermont 5 Boston U 5 Binghamton 5 (4 D1) Stony Brook 4 (3 D1) New Hampshire 4 (3 D1) Maine 4 (3 D1) |

Re: America East Gameday 11/13
Congrats Albany - nice win.
Let's get something straight - Stony Brook played 3 games in 80 hours. They played at Marist late friday night and played at Rider early tuesday morning. Two grueling road games against teams that are both going to be very good this year. Sandwiched in the middle was Mt. Ida. Why does anyone who is not a Stony Brook fan care? What does it matter if it's labeled a game, a scrimmage, or an exhibition? Who cares?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Also Redwyn makes a great point - we are also playing two Big East teams and an ACC team. Once again congrats on the win over Washington |

Re: America East Gameday 11/13
For our program being our first time beating a BCS team...this one will stick forever. There will obviously be others at some point but this one is our first BCS. Carries extra weight for me...

Re: America East Gameday 11/13
I don't know how long this holds up, but the conference RPI is off to a strong start! We won't be 29 again if this keeps up.
Much better than last year at least.
