AE is projected to rank 21 in RPI by the end of the season. UVM, Stony Brook, and Albany (one of whom will be the likely AE rep) are all projected to have RPIs around 100 at the end of the season. This would keep AE out of the PIG. Having said that, I kind of like the PIG.

Re: Conf. RPI Tracker

Which teams win their tourneys have a huge impact on who gets seeded where. Upsets can really help out teams

Ya know, saying this more times isn't going to make it any less wrong.

But at least you're being extremely persistent.

Re: Conf. RPI Tracker

Conf. RPI up to #20 today, with two bullets pointing up, and only 0.0001 behind the MAAC at the start of this hopeful day.

Women's RPI at #21

Re: Conf. RPI Tracker

After the weekend, Conf. RPI passes the Colonial, the double-A MAAC, and the one-A MAC to go to #17. Patriot League next, after that the difference between conferences gets greater.

http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_conf_Men.html

Power ranking we're still 23, though.

Re: Conf. RPI Tracker

Way too early to even be looking at this stuff.

I mean the NEC is #10, and while I think the league has improved scheduling and results, this is not reality.

If the NEC had been 29 or 30 the last couple years, you might be looking for hopeful signs too.

We're halfway thru the OOC schedule, so it's not unreasonable to be looking at trends

Depends on how you look at it. I prefer to take the view that this puts UVM 1 step closer to the possibility of playing 2 games in the NCAA Tourney.

Albany ranked 22nd in the latest Mid-Major poll...highest we've ever been. SBU gets 10 votes.
