Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Yes i know skill set and height wise he is a 4/5, i was commenting on his weight.... I believe he weighs about as much as Blue! Agree he needs to hit the weight room, but do not lose that quickness, that is what will make him special in our league!

Agree on O'Day, a weight between Crenca and Rugg would be perfect. He's going to be special in this league, his defense really impressed me tonight.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
The thing that impresses me is that he is only a freshman. Think about where some of our other great players from the last few years were at this point in there careers. He certainly seems more polished.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Well he started pretty much every game for us as a freshman and sophomore and was our best defender, and bald was defensive player of the year as a sophmore, the year after garvey transferred, that is all i was saying! I am high on our guys this year just not as sure about the perimeter "D"........ but you were right about Balds ability to "hit" anything last year.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Just got back from Matthews. Excellent team win. Northeastern is a tough team and talented and should be one of the better teams in CAA this season.
Complete execution from entire team tonight, couldn't be more pleased with what I saw. O'Day was terrific- finished strong, had some great blocks, but credit his teammates for finding him in the zone with great passing. Clancy was great tonight as well. So many hustle plays to keep possessions alive- stuff that won't show up in the box. He was excellent. By the time Clancy graduates it's going to be astonishing that he was ever a walk-on. Rusin and Blue played terrific as well. Both of them were really hitting their shots- great to see. Voelkel was Voelkel....so so good.

Anyways, O'Day...is not afraid out and does not back down. Reggie Spencer is not a small dude and O'Day was going right at him. He's also highly skilled for a big. I don't know if we've had a 6'9'' kid with his combination of footwork and ability to run the court. He'll have his ups and down as a freshman, but he's going to be a good one. I can't wait to get him into conference play.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Typo on my end- he most certainly is. He was your offense tonight, very impressive shooting display this evening.
I think I thought he was a PG because he had the ball in his hand most of the time vs BU. Seems to pretty much always have the ball in his hands making something happen.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Shout out to Luke Apfeld tonight who played a really smart, heady game. Took the shots that the defense gave him and did not try to force anything over guys. He tried to do a little too much of that against UConn. He let the game come to him and made some really nice shots/plays. Hit a nice 3 to start us off.
