UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
I'll be at this one as well Saturday night. Should be a close game. Northeastern impressed me in the BU/NU game. Quincy Ford is an unassuming star, Joel Smith is their leader at PG. Reggie Spencer is a big kid. Stahl for NU and Voelkel will mix it up.
Hopefully our guys start killing some shots.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
If we make some shots I like our chances, looking for someone to step it up Saturday and put the ball in the hoop.
Need to keep playing Vermont basketball and continue to defend and rebound the basketball. You do those things well and you give yourself a chance to win ANY game.

Big Ben should be back Saturday, anybody think he'll start? Interested to see what kind of shape he's in this year.

Joel Smith is a shooting guard.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
NU can't rebound, Vermont can.
Vermont has size and bulk, NU doesn't. NU may be quicker and more athletic on the perimeter. Catamounts by 4 in a very physical game.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
For most of the game vs. UConn the Cats dictated the pace and slowed the vaunted Huskies attack. They should be able to do the same today. Start strong and score at a better rate and they should win. Defense ,low turnovers and rebounding are in place for them - it is the scoring adjustment from losing Glass & McGlynn that is not solved yet. Cats +3

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
If UVM wants to play a slowdown game, NU will gladly accomodate. NU can play a "bigger" lineup (the 3-2 zone they played against Princeton, smalled kid on court was 6'4) if they want.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
Accuscore has NU as 75% favorites, they've been pretty accurate all year. Hope they got this one wrong!
NU 68 UVM 55 Until this team can figure out a way to score it's going to be difficult to win many games.

Re: UVM @ Northeastern 11/17
I'd like to see us get a win obviously but if that can't happen I'd at least like to see us score 60pts.
