Re: AE Gameday 11/25
The second half wasn't so funner as the first. I have no bad feelings about the game. My only lingering unanswered question is this. How often are you going to play a BCS school and even be in the game with them fairly deep into the second half? We have two more games against the "big time" in OOC play. We need to find a way to steal a win from either Maryland or Seton Hall.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
I know this has been said already but I really feel it bears repeating as I may not be able to say it very much this year:
"Maine won" That is all...

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
Let it linger no longer: Albany beat Washington just this year, Maine has beaten Penn State...seems like everyone has beaten or has hung with Boston College and I'm sure Vermont has beaten a few over the last decade.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
I'm starting to hate Uconn fans... they are so rude at times... But besides that: It was great being at the Gampel and watching the Brook play a great team like Connecticut. At one point I started believing that we had a shot at a victory but the better team won... that is all.

Can't remember when another AE team has beaten a ranked opponent. Besides when we beat Syracuse in NCAA Tournament in 2004-05 ![]() We also beat Rutgers in 09-10. I'd put them in the same category as Penn State hoops- probably higher.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
We were also leading UConn at halftime in 2010-11 when they won National Title.
Kemba & the kids were too much in second half.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
We crushed Colorado 84-59 in 08-09. Big 12 school.
Almost beat Maryland but Greivis Vazquez tied game in regulation then they crushed us in OT. Got home jobbed down in South Florida last year.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
Binghamton beat The U- Miami (FL) in 06-07. Jimmy Graham, TE, for the New Orleans Saints was on that team.
They also beat Rutgers in 08-09 during Rivera/Tiki year.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
During Coppenrath/Sorrentine years we also came close to winning at both UCLA and Kansas.

Re: AE Gameday 11/25
Maine received a tremendous performance from point guard Xavier Pollard. 15 points, 12 assists, 3 steals and only 2 turnovers. If Pollard can control the team like this, more wins will follow.
