AE Gameday 12/3, or: Bing hosts Monmouth
Only game for the conference tonight is Monmouth at Binghamton. The Hawks, 4-3, are led by Binghamton native and former UNC Tar Heel King Rice.
Monmouth has beaten Hofstra, South Alabama, Tennessee St., and Lafayette. They've lost to Notre Dame, Rider, and Georgia State. I expect another good one tonight. Especially with the way things ended vs Mount St. Mary's as Reed may or may not have been fouled (there was contact). If he goes to the line, who knows what happens? He would have only needed one to tie. |

But have you ever seen a ref call a foul on a buzzer beater shot? Reed literally would have to be tackled for them to call a foul there. The play was so ugly they didn't even deserve the free throws to win.

I didn't it say that it should be called, did I? Nor did I say the play was pretty.
I simply said there was contact (there was) and if Reed goes to the line there's a fair chance he ties it up. Who knows what happens in OT? My point is that you bet your ass the team is a little upset (and looking to take it out vs Monmouth) at how the events unfolded, regardless of how "ugly" the play was or whether or not a foul should or should not have been called. |

Re: AE Gameday 12/3, or: Bing hosts Monmouth
I'm more interested to see what type of offense binghamton is able to use. They had a rough time in the second half with the press and it felt like they got most off their points off FTs. If I were playing them and saw what happened on Sat. I'd press them the whole game. It drove me nuts that reed got basically no touches in the second half (other than the last minute) when he's clearly the best player on the team.

Last night Binghamton had very limited play from Moquete due to foul trouble. That probably didn't help their cause vs the press. |

As much as I shouldnt get overly emotionally invested in UVM I would of thrown a punch that night at John Hughes with no regrets. |
