18-33 FT and 18 turnovers- where 3 were probably actually forced by Towson- is what did it.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
Hopefully, it's the games like this that make us better. Luckily, this is only game 7.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
Feel bad the home fans had to witness that.
I've been fortunate to attend the two best performances we've had this year: @ Northeastern, @Harvard.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
One way to rebound from the URI loss and this total abortion is to win on the road at Quinnipiac this weekend.
Let's see what this team's got.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
Doesn't even look like the same team that played Harvard/Northeastern, hopefully they can get this ish together. The schedule is about to get much harder.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
35 turnovers combined in last two games. Giving up on a lot of FG attempts and lots of pts off turnovers.

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
back to back TO's when we were up 4 with a minute left... I love sandro but that killed us, we could have taken another 30 seconds of the clock...god we played like crap! we went almost 6 minutes at the start of the game before a guard took a shot!!!!!! and that was a steal/break that went to Blue, our free throw shooting was just plane ugly, we shoot our average and we win by 8.........aaaggghhh and do not get me started on having brian and josh out there at the same time... neither will shoot so the other team sags off on 2 guys and clogs the middle and easily doubles down low. NO WAY WE SHOULD HAVE LOST THIS GAME!!!!!!!

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
The only positive I take out of this game is...... well a couple. Luke Apfeld can be really really good. I like how he took over for us offensively. Next year is our year. I cant wait for some extra size next year with Pierson and Hector replacing bulging disk Ben. We really needed some more size today as they had their way with us down low. It was honestly embarrassing. O'day is our only good defender yet he is too skinny as well. He's really only good at blocking shots. We had no one to step up and take Benimon. He had his way with us all game. At what point does someone on UVM say I got Benimon. Anyone??????? please....... There was no one to step up tonight defensively. Big ben would of helped rebound and clear space but couldnt guard benimon. That being said I'm not sure if benimon did anything outside of 3 feet.
This game had me really thinking about next year. It's way too early but this loss was really badddd. Ft's killed us. Turnovers killed us. lack of defensive rebounding killed us. Really hoping UVM turns it around the next few games. Need some good wins to offset this loss. |

Re: Towson @ UVM 12/5
I mean, I'm not worried about the size. Benimon and Dixon are both transfers from Georgetown and Providence. Those are both two big dudes. We will not see a duo like them- or even an individual- as each of those guys the rest of the way.
