UVM has 83% chance of a win according to Team Rankings. With QU and CofC coming up this needs to be a win.

Correct- though I do think he could technically go, but just can't travel with team and sit on the team bench.

So given that, zero chance

Besides , Burlington is far too difficult to get to. I don't even know how the rest of the Towson team is managing to get there.

Don't really understand this comment, and why others don't wish the transfers well we've had over the years well.

I personally think the kid sold himself short by choosing Towson given his available options to transfer, but I sincerely hope he's personally successful at Towson.

I think we all wish kids well who transfer, unless they do so in a manner that has an unnecessarily negative impact on the team they've left. There are ways to do this sort of thing properly.

Four waited until very late (June) to ask for his release. I mean, good luck to him, but he doesn't get a pass on this one from me. Having said that, he's gone, I don't really care now.

I guess I would like to stomp Towson, though, and demonstrate that we are now more than fine, thank you.

Yeah, I am certainly not looking to see Towson do well as a team at all- agree that the transfer was late and put us in a tough situation, but I think we've been put in tough positions previously and always bounce back.

Plus- these are kids and many times being influenced by parents, coaches, etc- so ultimately the decisions that are made are not entirely up to them.

I wouldn't have a problem with Four if he wanted out and asked for his release after the season, but he put the team and our coaching staff in a very difficult position.

Have fun at Towson, I'm sure your dad is happy. Where is pops these days? He used to contribute a lot on this board.

There is this thing called loyalty and some people actually still believe in it today.

You can say he is doing what's best for him yada yada. He made a lateral move and is a traitor. He made a very low character move when he waited until he was away from his teammates before saying he was transferring. This is not a good guy. Root for him if you want but I have no interest it. He's not a person I would want anything to do with.

People like Lonergan and Jake O'brien made reasonable moves for themselves. I would have no ill feelings towards these individuals. I could understand transfering because of a new coach, a legit family member being sick. There are legit reasons. I think Four's reason is because he got paid or he is really selfish.

I almost feel bad for the kid. Everything I've heard is that Dad was overly involved and most likely made the decision for him. If true, that's just a sad commentary on where we are as a society today. College should be a time when you finally get a chance to make some decisions for yourself and get some breathing room from your folks. Four's situation is not unique..helicopter parents are an epidemic in America.

He would be playing ball this winter on a solid team with players that would get him the ball in good spots and have a chance to do some serious damage in the AE. Instead he's sitting out for a season for a team that has no proven track record. The only upgrade for Four in this situation is the gym. What bothers me, in addition to the way he left, was the article in his hometown's local paper where his father played it off like it was all Four's decision. He was quoted as saying something like "I really thought he'd stay up there...he seemed to really like it." That's just B.S.
