But yes, giving up easy points in transition off turnovers is something every team wants to avoid.

Rusin has had some frustrating moments but he's a terrific outside shooter. If he can cut down his turnovers and increase FT % he'll be fine. I honestly don't think Trey Blue can be playing any better in the role we're asking from him. Hasn't shown up every night- but has majority of nights and when he has he's been terrific IMO. I feel pretty good when both of these guys are out there- especially when either has an open look- they're both snipers.

Rusin is scoring 8+ points per game, so he's being productive. I guess our expectations, and probably not his either, just aren't being filled.
Blue is showing continuous improvement on defense, shooting well, making passes and hitting free throws. I didn't really have firm expectations, so it's easier to be happy with the results. |

Re: UVM @ Quinnipiac 12/8 4pm
Remember the Harvard game? That's the team I want every game! Extra passes, plenty of assists, better ball handling.
I didn't expect the team to enter conference play with an amazing record. I mean, no Mount Ida on the schedule. But seriously, to put together a team in the off-season that has this much potential is one thing. Getting the team to gel and execute is another thing altogether. Gotta hope the kinks get worked out over the next 4 games and team starts becoming more consistent. |

Turnovers that lead to fast break points really kill a team. I think its night and day compared to a regular turnover. IF sandro turns the ball over twice against Towson and Towson doesnt get easy points out of it we still could of won that game. I think our defense had a chance to make a stop and get us the ball back with a tied game atleast. |
