Tip off 2:00 PM - game is on ESPN 3. I checked last night and it looks like 90% of seats are still available. Im guessing it will be a ghost town. Leaving for the game in a half hour. I will be the guy streaking through the gym in only my under wear after the first time out. Should get me some nice air time.

Manhattans best player has been out for most of OOC. My guess is he doesn't play again. Manhattan is 2-0 at home so far. They have less home games than SB.

I don't see any type of trap game here. SB goes in and takes care of business. 67 to 54.

Terrible game, but all we'll see is another W in the books. Defense was solid, although we still get fooled by isolation plays at the corners.

i was getting ready to post that stony brook had 4 straight possessions of well exvecuted basketball that got them the lead and eventual victory. I was going to compliment pikiell and co. Then i see mayo get a defensive rebound then get fouled make both foul shots and then mcalister come in for him... cant make it up.

Terrible game very boring. 4 solid possessions from 3min to 1 minute mark got them that win. i will take it especially on the road. Mayo doing everything he can to get a starting role over McAlister. Pikiell still budging.

On to the real season. Let's beat UNH!!!!!

I don't see why this wasn't a good decision. Even Shaq makes 2 FTs every once in a while - and while Mayo made a good defensive play, it doesn't mean he's automatically better than McAlister.

I accept that Eric's not the greatest offensive mind, but he's very solid defensively. Mayo still attracts fouls much too easily, something you don't want with less than a minute left and a 2 possession lead. Mayo did his job for that possession, but was not the ideal option for the end game.

No problem with that decision.

On the very next play McAlister was late to help. On the very next play! McAlister was 0-3 from the field and 0-1 from 3. Mayo was 3-4 from the field and 2-2 from the foul line. As a coach you need to read players and the game.

Annnnnnnnnnnd McAlister took another 3. Once agian proves he cant be trusted. Is anyone going to tell him he isnt a 3 point shooter?

How long are we going to defend McAlister?

Gritty, gutsy performance by a road weary Seawolves team. Team worked ultra hard when things weren't working in a lot of areas today. Made my Outback Special on the ride home taste much better than it otherwise would have.
