Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
1 serious question for UA fans. How do you guys look at your future moving ahead. I can see Hooley being a very good player. Rowley is a SO? He can be a good role player. I dont see much young talent from UA moving forward. Where does UA go after this season? Iati and Black will be gone.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
UVM wins 70-45 final.
This is how I was hoping we would look come February/March. Not going to complain if it comes early I guess.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
Great contributions from everyone. Good to see BK back. Tough kid. Has a good nose for the ball. Also, being able to go ten deep will help keep up the defensive intensity. On to the Terriers.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
This team has the potential to be very, very good. They have shown it a few times this year already. It's just a matter of doing in consistantly on both ends of the floor. Kudos to the team and coach staff for not hanging there heads when they had a tough stretch of poorly played games.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
Wow....a little surprised by a win of that margin. One of those games where UVM probably isn't as good as a 25 point win against Albany and Albany isn't as bad as a 25 point loss to UVM. Either way great job by UVM.....that is a little scary for the rest of the league.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
I think Albany should look for Rowley and Devlin more. They seemed pretty solid offensive options and Rowley had some nifty moves in traffic and Devlin can knock down the 15ft-16ft jump shot when open.

For some perspective, UVM began conference play 3-2 after our first 5 games last season, on the heels of going like 2-7 in the OOC games before that.

Not sure I can picture that, especially if the player covering him is 5'11'' or taller.

Re: Albany at UVM 1/5/13
14 assists, 9 turnovers, 8 steals, 5 blocked shots. Somewhat surprisingly, rebounds were nearly even, 32 for the Cats to 28 for the Great Danes. Each team had 8 offensive rebounds, although it seemed during the game that the Cats were winning that battle handily.
4 Cats in double figures. Trey Blue with 15, and Sandro, Rusin, and Apfeld with 12 apiece. Overall, a great team effort for Vermont. |
