There is absolutely ZERO chance that the Selection committee gives the AE AQ a better seeding than the CAA. Except on the women's side that is, but you guys tried to ruin that when you scolded BU for wanting to leave one of the worst conf in the country, but as you'll soon discover they'll find a way around that roadblock. Sour grapes per usual.

Speaking of which, on the women's side BU should run the table and receive an at-large bid to the dance, so the Cracker Jack AE got burned on that little move. I'm rooting for the men to take the NIT bid away because of it.
Except on the women's side? Did you not know that Delaware was a Top 4 seed last year and most likely will be again this year if Delle Donne stays healthy? Again, you are clueless.

And sorry that others got suckered in, but I will make the same bet with you that boysi did...because quite honestly, if you're gonna be on here spreading your crap, I really don't need to be a part of it.

I happen to enjoy the conversations with fans of the other AEast teams and talking about stuff, unlike you.

My thought exactly...even if I lose I still win...

Re: CAA RPI vs AEast RPI as of today

GMU's OOC losses were to teams who are a combined 65-20. Oh, and GMU is 2-0 against AE teams and has a top 100 RPI. Say night night if they receive the AQ

Did I mention they have a little more leverage than Stony Brook in that not only have they actually been to the NCAA Tourney, they also made the Final Four a few short years ago?

I actual feel bad you guys took me up on my offer, cause' I'm going to miss your banter.

And the 2 teams they have now lost to in the CAA are a combined 14-17, including a loss yesterday to previously winless in CAA play, UNC Wilmington (#305 in RPI when they played - horrible loss). That top 100 RPI will be no longer when they are updated with the most recent results.

Yeah, they beat BU by 3 and UMBC by 11 both at Mason...powerful team...LOL.

Their success of 2006 will give them a little benefit of the doubt, but certainly not a ton. It's not like they have set the world on fire this year...

Oh, their best quality win is over #113 Richmond, an afterthought in the A-10, by 3.

Nice try. Keep believing that, and let me know how that turns out.

T-minus 62 days and counting for you (till the selection show), so make sure you get in your share of posts.

Keep believing what? Concrete stats & facts? Sure, I can do that...thank you so much for the advice.

Re: CAA RPI vs AEast RPI as of today

I'm not sure what is more ridiculous about this wager: the timing of it (trying to determine on 1/13 which of two teams will be seeded higher in the NCAA Tournament...without knowing which teams you're discussing, and when they are selected *2 months from now* they will be chosen by two somewhat-volatile single-elimination tournament procedures) or the premise that it's built on (that, without knowing the two teams, the seeding will be largely determined by the perceived reputation of a league and historical good feelings, rather than any particular qualities of the respective teams in question...teams you don't know).

I'll open it up for discussion.

SBU will be the AE AQ at a 16 seed, while any of the top 3 in the CAA will be the 15 seed. Most likely GMU, but NE or JMU would also trump any AE team. It's not rocket science!

I see most of what you see in George Mason.

I can't really see what you see in Northeastern, but if you say it's there then sure.

I think your eyes are closed on James Madison.

What are you talking about? What whoopings? LOL...god, your dumbness never ceases to amaze me. I'm not Zonid if you still think that...you have no clue what my name is over there...and honestly, I don't really post there and read occasionally. Keep patting yourself on the back though you old egomaniac.

Just so you know, Mason just dropped to 2-2 yesterday in the weak CAA as they lost to previously 4-10 and 300+ RPI UNC-Wilmington. Yeah, that would be considered a very bad loss on a resume. They have zero quality wins...

Oh, and Northeastern is 1-2 vs the AMERICA EAST, losing AT HOME to both Vermont & Maine! They did beat Boston U by 1, first game of the year.

James Madison?!?! WTF is he talking about? They are #251 in the RPI, 9-8 overall with some horrible losses to RPI's #212, 266 and 346!! Yeah, great resume...oh, and their strength of schedule is #325. That has play-in game written all over it...
