Northeastern can run the table and win the CAA as far as I'm concerned, and hopefully they do!

We beat them. So did Maine.

I'd like to see Northeastern run the table as well........especially since they are the most likely candidate from the CAA to return to AE eventually.

Northeastern has climbed up to #141 in the RPI. Their biggest chances for a loss are likely to come in the next 11 days...after hosting horrible Hofstra, they will play at Delaware (undefeated in CAA play) and then a week later play George Mason at home, whom they already beat on the road. Mason is tops in RPI for the league, but has dropped to #123.

Yep, a 16 seed playing Syracuse in Philadelphia.

I could do without playing Syracuse again in the tournament, though I guess it's better than nothing. This years Syracuse team would destroy us.

And like a moron, you don't realize that this puts Stony Brook back into the bracket, with a higher RPI & strength of schedule than Vermont...in fact, higher RPI than any CAA team.

The Mountain West. Now the 2nd best conference in the United States according to Realtime RPI. Amazing. I love non-BCS conference climbing up the basketball ladder!

Wow! I knew they were up there but holy cow...look at their teams:

8 - New Mexico
17 - Colorado St (amazing the gains they have made over the last 4-5 years)
20 - UNLV
32 - San Diego St
34 - Wyoming (these guys were RPI #264 2 tears ago!)
48 - Boise St
91 - Air Force
160 - Nevada
172 - Fresno St

They really have no anchor that brings them down. Will be interesting to see how many NCAA Tourney bids they get...

according to ESPN. The Mountain is looking like it will get 6 bids. Yep, that's right! SIX!

I would say atleast five because Boise and Wyoming are deserving of a bid with those nice RPIs. Just gotta see how it all plays out
