Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
UNH is so terrible. For about 12 minutes they had no idea what they were doing on offense.
At the same time, everyone is getting blown by on defense by Puriefoy. He looks awfully good, as does Warney. Chandler Rhoads looks like he is just going to play this game himself.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Im chatting all alone here. It's ok though - not the only thing ill do by myself today. 10 pt lead at half. Defense is great for SB. Coley and Jackson both played about 5 mins each and sat with foul trouble. NH better on the boards but SB with six blocks. Once they stopped jacking 3's and Puriefoy came in and slashed a bit the fg percent went up nicely for The Brook.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Welp, BU gets outplayed in the second half by yet another team. Not impressed at all by Coach Joe Jones. This team seems incapable of winning a close game. If it wasn't apparent before, now it's certain they have no shot at the NIT at this point.

Hartford holds off BU in Boston.
Hartford shot 14-30 from 3pt.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Would have liked to make more shots and free throws but can't complain up 10 at half with both starting guards on bench for 15min of half. Warney and purfoy playing very well except for purefoy missing free throws. Sbu need to go to a 3 guard offense instead of 3 bigs. With mcalister tommy and warney in game at same time it allows the guy defending mcalister to over help on warney. Looks like that was unh's plan to start. Once it was just tommy and warney, warney started to get going. Bracey missed a couple easy ones.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Bad/annoying loss for the Terriers. As in the Maine loss, we lead the whole game and then ran out of gas and/or fumbled it away with inexperience. Can't lose these at home, and now we have to beat Vermont or else it's 0-3.
Hartford was insane from deep and hit every one of their 15 or so free throws |

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
I watched the stream of this game. Been a long time since I have seen Hartford beat BU at BU. Very impressed with how Coach Gal changed the offenive strategy at halftime. It was essential as BU had scouted Hartford very well and they had Hartford totally flustered in th first half with sufficating D and doubling down on Nwakamma. Cole and Sikma had very good games. I thought Papale was extremely impressive for BU. Really like that player. Good luck to the BU fans the rest of the way.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Been a 10ish pt lead since the middle of the first half. SB could have really put this game away anytime but they just refuse to play that way. Team is now 3-16 from 3, that's 18%. Some day SB will get good guard play from the front and back court. Jackson and Coley in foul trouble all day. Looks like the crowd at Prithcard is rocking!

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
And ... 49 points. UNH shoots a blistering 30.8% from 2 and 57.7% from the line, ringing up an excellent 11 two-point field goals.
Jesus Christ. It gets worse every game.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
65-49 SB. Workmanlike performance. Brenton 12 rebounds, 5 assists. Warney with 18 pts and 4 blocks. Now on to Binghamton Wed night. Bing is playing hard and they give SB fits every time, especially in Binghamton. Warney interviewed after game on radio. "Me and Tre did a very good job putting a spark into our game." That comment was in reference to stepping up when Jackson and Coley went out with foul trouble.
