Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Chambers final recruiting class was a big miss- not helping Jones either.
BU needs quality size. I watched Lehigh/VCU yesterday and even when McCollum got hurt, Lehigh still had some skilled big men. BU needs to get some size if they are going to compete with the Lehigh's and Bucknell's in the Patriot. Their back court is ready to go though.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
I'm assuming this player was not Markus Kennedy from 'Nova because he would have had to sit out.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
ffts- Do you hear this from someone outside of BU that didn't hear it from BU? Also why is this players name being held secret? I understand things needing to be sealed under closed lips but some of the stuff that seems to be kept under wrap seem like not a big deal at all. I don't see any thing negative about this information.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Hmm, I'm intrigued. Not a lot of grad student/5th year big men from BCS conferences. Curious as to who it could be.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
My guess is it was Oriakhi from UConn...who ended up at Missouri and could play immediately.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Can't be Oriakhi b/c he transferred due to UConn being ineligible for NCAA's- not because he graduated and was a 5th year transfer. That being said also, Oriakhi was considering Kentucky, Duke, and UNC among others.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
My apologies...I didn't read the "5th year" part in FFTS' original post. Well damn, now I have no clue and am very interested myself.

Could be someone who decided to stay put too.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Hhmmmmmm...I know of some bigs that transferred TO BCS teams from Mid-Majors but can't really think of any that went the other way except for the kid that left NC State to go to Old Dominion. Shoot, can't remember his name now but I believe he is having a pretty good season despite ODU's lack of success this year.

Re: AE gameday 1/5/2013
Gotta be Bilal Dixon, graduated from Providence and playing immediately at Towson...has to be the one FFTS is talking about...makes sense.
