Like any freshman, he is going to be very inconsistent - some real bonehead plays mixed with flashes of brilliance. And brilliance for Mo Watson are when he gets to show off ridiculous court vision with some truly awesome passes. Stuff I have never seen at BU and which you only see at the high levels. As he matures and cuts down on the boners, I believe he will live up to much of the hype.

Dom Morris looks to be in the best shape of his career. Looks even lighter than when I saw him play against Northeastern in the season opener. He was moving real well last night- doesn't have as much as the heft as he had previously.

If he stays like that and plays like that he'll be 1st team/2nd team all conference.

Yes - can't remember who was guarding DJ in the 2nd half, but I recall a few instances when the guy looked like he was stuck in mud while DJ darted toward the basket

Watson uses his speed more on the fast break.

The point of 1 game sample size is obviously definitely true. That said, uvm4life's point of Watson not looking like a ESPN Top 100 recruit is also valid, and bringing up Voelkel who was as under the radar as it gets and nowhere near ranked a Top 100 recruit with his other offer from Manhattan, is obviously and apples/oranges comparison.

I recommend parking on Ashford Street next to the construction site. If it's at night or on the weekend, they aren't doing work, and haven't towed yet (knock on wood). Also good, but a bit more of a walk is to park on Pleasant, Babcock or any of the streets in between. There are usually spots.

It's a huge disaster right now down there, but giving yourself a few extra minutes should do the trick.

This is my favorite part about Mo. Smiling, high fiving, talking to teammates, first to help guys up...he's a leader and he's only going to get better.

A dean of the School of Dental Medicine was sitting behind me, and went over to check Travis out. From what he was saying, and I couldn't hear it all, it's going to be quite the mess in his mouth. Real bummer for a guy who already wears a facemask!

Overall, I was nervous the whole game, but really thrilled with the intensity displayed by the Terriers last night. I think some of their mistakes were related to how hyped up they were, and their energy level.

Thanks- I wanted to park on Ashford but there but there were no spots.

I mean-- when is that going to be done? It wasn't a big deal as I got there early enough but I had to circle the side streets around Shaw's for a good 15-20min. I can't imagine a casual fan trying to get there is going to be cool with driving around searching for spots.

It's kind of a joke- I guess this is the year for that perhaps as BU is ineligible for tournament play in conference and is a bit short handed, but for the actual BU fans that come out to support the team it's pretty sad. Play the games at Agganis.

I would like a player like him as well but nothing I said was wrong. He never should of been a top 100. He had 7 to's. It was prolly his worst game of the year. He will still be on the all-rookie team.

He had a horrible game like I said and he never should of been a top 100 player. What an idiot statement by me. If he was top 100 player he would have no problem going by Sandro. Sandro is a decent defender at best and below average most nights.

I have seen him play before. The only statement I made on who he is was I dont see how he is a top 100 recruit. I am not the first person who has said this. UVM hoopcat has said this before as well. I said nothing negative about him besides he isnt playing good.

This is the second person who has jumped on me. I guess ffts and the other guy think he is a top 100 recruit and had a great game today. Can somebody jump on them for those statements?

Is anyone disappointed that Robinson didnt come back in after losing a tooth. I have seen multiple people keep playing after losing a tooth and they weren't getting paid with a college scholly. I broke a tooth playing once. I did stop playing but it was a pick up game and I needed it fixed asap with prom two days away. He might of had a couple other teeth become loose as well so it might of been more than just losing a tooth. I would of liked the kid to come back without his tooth.

If you are bleeding you're not allowed on the court. Did you want him to play with his mouth taped shut, too?

It's not kind of a joke, it's a total joke!

Sadly, it's a necessary evil though to get NB field built. The field is slated to open Fall 2013, so this should only be a one-year issue, but it's a huge mess. Just wait until the big indoor track tournaments are happening at the same time as a Saturday or Sunday bball game, combined with the students being back, it's going to be a vortex of feces!

All that said, for next year, the low-down is that Men's Basketball will be moving all of their games to Agganis. Part of me is excited for the chance to try and make that a home, but I worry that the move to the PL isn't going to "boost" attendance in any meaningful way to justify this move. Gotta start somewhere I guess.
