Re: Maine/Hartford
Seriously...30 of Hartford's 40 points are from 3-pt land...WTF?!?! They need to cool off soon...

Re: Maine/Hartford
maine came to play but their poor offensive strategy, high turnovers, and poor transition defense cost them the game. overall i thought they made a couple of adjustments in the second half on the offensive end and they smartly had two guys back on free throw attempts to prevent transition offense for Hartford, but overall the lack of good ball handlers and shooters at the guard position is really hurting this team. i would love to shove a xavier pollard shot chart right into the coaching staff's face and be like "why the h-e-double hockey sticks is this kid shooting threes?"

Re: Maine/Hartford
When's the last time Maine had a point guard where you really felt comfortable when he was handling the ball? Pollard isn't a ball handler, Rogers was limited by size and was turnover prone, Junior Bernal could get to the rim but was limited almost everywhere else.
The Bears just need a game manager. |

And re: Pollard, he's just not a good shooter period...with this effort, in the last 5 games he is 1-12 from '3' and 15-48 overall from the floor. He should not be taking double digit shot attempts...ever.

Re: Maine/Hartford
Another very good game by Nwkamma - 23 pts., 7 rbds, 8 assists and he even nailed two of three 3 pointers. The Hawks lead the conference in three pointers made as many of you Im sure already know.
Sikma started today but came out after only 3 minutes with the flu. |

Re: Maine/Hartford
Smart move to paly 2-3 zone in the 1st half. That was the ballgame from Teaserland
Hartford has a leg up on that coveted 4/5 seed matchup, so they can avoid playing one of the big 3 in the AE Tourney. |

Re: Maine/Hartford
I made 5 more 3s today playing basketball at noon than Justin Edwards did today.

Re: Maine/Hartford
Looks like Maine didn't want to play anymore than 5 guys today. Gonna be tough to win consistently like that. Were players hurt/out?
