Maine/Hartford
I am heading up to the game today. Odd that it is a noon start. I read that this is some kind of sports education day. Hartford is having a number of schools attend. They are expecting 1500 kids. They have a variety of different speakers lined up for the kids.

Re: Maine/Hartford
Looking forward to this game. I think it's an important statement game for both schools.

Re: Maine/Hartford
I'm hoping Maine's statement isn't...
"Hahahahaha...we had you thinking maybe, just maybe things were going to be different than in past years. Got ya!"

Re: Maine/Hartford
You know, people always say that the NBA is unwatchable because of travelling. I say college basketball is nearing that point with too many player control fouls.
Hartford 5-0 at the under 16. Choppy (both game play and feed, how about a clock, Hartford?!) |

Re: Maine/Hartford
Maine down 7 at half...Hartford already 8-16 from '3' while Maine is living at the line, 12-16 in the first half.

Re: Maine/Hartford
the coaching for maine is/was atrocious. 4 minutes scoreless with extended pressure by Hartford and ZERO adjustments. if hartford would reign in their aggressiveness just a little bit to reduce the ticky tack fouls they would be up even more. If I'm Gallagher I go extended pressure, double Fraser, clog it up for Edwards and make the others beat you. Pound the ball to Nwakamma and keep shooting threes Maine will give up good looks especially in transition before the D is set.
