I certainly see how this could be lost on people from BU and UMBC though. You're not really going to notice the two BU students near the band at case yelling at the ref.

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
Good job by UVM taking care of business today in what looks a ho-hum effort. Hopefully Luke's leg injury is nothing serious, but luckily he could most likely rest the next one as well if need be.
Missed a TON of FT's tonight. Need to tighten that up.

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
UVM played good defense and took care of the ball, even though there was a lot of grabbing and holding by UMBC. If UVM hit their FT's it would have been a 25 or 30 point game. Blue didn't look very peppy. Flu?
Ho-hum. On to the Bing game on Wed. |

will get you the Maine broadcast. I thought it was delayed, but then I remembered the game started at 7:30. Duh. |

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
If I'd have asked you, before the games started, to pick who would have the largest losing margin tonight Maine hoops @ Albany or Maine hockey @ Merrimack, you would be VERY interested in both games right now.
Maine hoops is down 12. Maine hockey is down 6. |

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
Maine has memberships available to anyone who wants to join the health club. Thinking about taking a trip to orono and putting on my speedo and taking some laps.
The Albany fans are very whiny as well tonight. Take a page out of the SB book and cheer with class and character. |

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
Maine has let UA play their game, with Black going to the rim and then to the foul line over and over, as if they didn't bother to see what UVM did to beat them. Like the Boy Scouts, Maine deserves to have some adult leadership.

1 of the gyms I played in the 2 3pt lines almost intersected. NOT JOKING. They were 2 feet apart if that with the half court line in between. You try taking a deep 3 and it was a backcourt violation. Obviously it wasn't called in that gym. It was a really nice place to play pick up games. You could play full court and not get worn out that quickly. |

Re: AE Gameday 1/12/13
Rowley continues to impress...10pts, 13rb, 3stl and a block...along with some great D. Love this kids game...in 4 AE games Rowley is averaging 10rpg (same as Brenton in 3 games) and only behind Frasier in the league.
