AE Student Athletes
It's nice to be reminded that in a conference like America East the academics are central, and athletes focus on more than just their sport.

Congrats to UVM junior Luke Apfeld and Albany grad student Jacob Iati, who were named to the Capital One Academic All-District I Men's Basketball Team, selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Anyone that can bounce back and not only contribute but still play at a relatively high level from not 1 not 2 but 3 consecutive ACL surgeries is a special human being.

Re: AE Student Athletes
Good point. Derrick Rose apparently has little interest in coming back after one ACL tear. His muscle memory has atrophied so he plans to sit out this entire year even though his team desperately needs him. Still struggling with that one.
