In the 05 Championship game against Northeastern, there was definitely way more than 3266 in there.....

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18
apparently close to a sell out earlier, not sure if it's sold out yet.

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18
Stony Brook opened up the day favored by 3 before enough bettors put money on Vermont to swing it. As of now, some Vegas casinos have SBU favored by 1, others have it at 1.5.

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18
There must be 20 SBU fans from this forum who are making the trip! Very quiet today, considering it's the most important game in the history of sports.

Yep, and all the Deere hats here are worn un-ironically.

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18
Fridge is good and stocked with Long Trail.
I was going to do a drinking game by crushing a beer every time Brenton fell down w/out someone touching him, but the liquor store (Blanchard's) didn't have enough cases of Long Trail

I could not get anyone to blow off work today to make the 6 hour trip to Burlington. The local Buffalo Wild WIngs will have a nice contingent of SB fans however. I realize SB's dominating success of the past several years has insulated us from real critique, but this Pritchard talk is really ridiculous. SB is playing in a temporary facility while their much larger facility is being renovated. If Pritchard were the permanent home of SB basketball then the barbs would be valid. The fact that it is a temporary solution makes the attacks on it laughable. |
