The fact that it is a temporary solution makes the attacks on it laughable.
LoL..."temporary" is something that's a few games, not a number of complete basketball seasons

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18

As we've been over thousands of time before, that was the edict from the Governor. The Stony Brook plan had it where the arena would have been open at least 2 years already.

There's nothing wrong with Pritchard Gym IF you have a ticket in hand.

Salty, if SBU should be close behind near the end of the game and the bartender indicates he/she can push a button and throw the game into overtime (Buffalo Wild Wings does this. I've seen it on TV) say "no". It's not sporting and unfair to do this. Plus, they will gouge you on any drinks ordered during OT.

Re: Stony Brook @ Vermont 1-18

I'm ready to just see these 2 teams play already...tired of all the foolish drivel that has taken up 8 pages. Game after this features Fairfield/Iona for those that want to get a double dose of mid-major hoops, northeastern US style.

Prediction: Vermont in a defensive slugfest, 61-57.

Correction: AE is a High-Minor, because to be even a low-major would imply a conf level that is below major. AE was in the PIG, which is reserved for the 4 worst teams that won their conf AQ's. Hence the low-major (high-minor)

The AE is in no way, shape, or form a "high-major" Get real.

How ironic. I was driving home from work a while ago and that was the score I was going to post on here when I came on the forum. Same kind of adjective to describe what kind of game I expect too, a "slugfest".
