OT - Coach G's LaSalle team knocks off #9 Butler
Congrats to Coach/Dr John Giannini and his LaSalle Explorers as they won a huge game at home over #9 Butler. LaSalle was pretty high in the RPI as it was and now this will propel them even higher...could this be the year he gets them in the NCAA's? Students stormed the court as well.
Glad for him...good guy.

Very nice win by LaSalle. Butler is without its best player Rotnei Clarke who injured his neck against Dayton and is no way a #9 team without him- but still a team that should be able to beat LaSalle, so still an excellent win by the Explorers.

Re: OT - Coach G's LaSalle team knocks off #9 Butler
Butler is my favorite basketball team by far. I love watching them. They might of lost this game, but I love their game. They bring in players who on paper are not even close to the big dog programs and create a program that can compete against anyone in the nation, it's remarkable. I have a feeling Brad Stevens is going to stay at Butler until Coach K retires and then apply for that position. The way he coaches it would seem like the only logical move up for him.

Anyway, back to Dr G and his LaSalle Explorers...looks like they have righted their ship. Few more wins and they will be back in the Big Dance! Good for him!
