The only thing I would add is just because someone isn't a coach in the BCS does not mean they aren't an elite coach. For a lot of coaches, they don't strive for that...some like having the quality of life offered at a lower level vs the pressure at a BCS school. Some may prefer the location of the school...some may prefer coaching at their alma mater. There are just a lot of reasons why a coach may not move up from the FCS level.

Does Ford being legendary top Tommy Brenton's number being retired... Idk... Which is one is worst is up to opinion. I think both are terrible

Brennan is a legend to UVM fans so Ford is probably a legend to UA fans. There is nothing wrong with UA fans calling him a legend.

this thread makes me laugh. Non-UA fans are obviously trying to get you guys going and it's working. Anyone who knows anything about college football knows that Ford is considered a legend by most coaches within the college football ranks. He's had many, many disciples move on to coach at all levels. He never left because he loves this program, this school, this city and that gives a lot of people even more respect for him. We know this. No need to prove anything to people who don't know who he is. Newer fans to college football won't know his legacy but now they do.

I think a quote in some article from a well known legendary coach about Bob Ford would do him more justice than the word of an UA fan.

He isn't even the most famous Bob Ford. Bob Ford was the guy who killed Jesse James.
